Airwaves
debuted in 2001 as a 3-piece version of the 4-piece band Evolution
and is currently Richard Carothers, Mike Archibald, John Atkinson
and the addition of keyboardist Curt Miller when he is available.

Bassist Steve Swain had decided to move on and concentrate on
his other projects in 2016 before he passed away in May 2018.
Mike Del Monico had come in to replace Steve as Richard Carothers
and Mike Archibald were already with him in another band, Hard Drive
and he played until early 2022. Bassist John Atkinson is the newest addition.
Guitarist Richard also plays occasionally with party band Little House
and played with Blowtorch Repair for 30 years until May 2018
when Bassist Steve Swain passed away.
